Hi !, I'm Dilhan Rahubadde
From a young age, art has been my passion. Drawing is the earliest skill I remember, and my earliest childhood memory involves sketching. Even as a child, I found drawing incredibly relaxing.
Growing up in Sri Lanka, pursuing art as a profession was discouraged due to cultural perceptions that artists are poor. Despite this, drawing remained my favorite subject in school, and I never missed an assignment.
The COVID-19 pandemic provided me with an opportunity to return to my childhood passion. I began drawing portraits of friends and family, using the proceeds to support charity work. This journey allowed me to develop new techniques in pencil portrait drawings, digital paintings, cartoons, and caricatures. What started as a hobby turned into commission work, and eventually, I established my own business as an artist.
